I write this letter to the young man I know you will grow to be. I hope that your life up to this point has been everything you've ever wanted. As your mother, I have strived from the moment of conception to give you everything you need and deserve, and that's not just speaking in terms of finances. I broke my back and my heart to make our family work and I will never hesitate to break the bank to ensure that you are taken care of. I am not just your mother, but I am the person closest to you. No other can love you the way I have and always will. So when life starts to get a little rough, don't hesitate to turn to your mama to talk. I have always been a great listener and I'm always down to help you figure out a solution to any problem. I know what it can be like to feel isolated from your parents and I don't want us to have that kind of relationship. I will always have an open heart, mind, and ears, ready to assist you on this hard journey called life. I love you and I am so proud that you are who you are.
