Last night, I gave you a bottle and you held it and fed yourself the whole time. It was the most beautiful, tear-jerking thing I had experienced since you birthday. After you finished your bottle, I fed you baby food to celebrate your turning 4 months, and you ate a whole jar of squash. Proud moment for a new mommy. And I think you have your daddy's appetite.
Even though you're just a tiny little thing, you celebrated bringing in your first New Year with mommy a couple of days ago. This is the year that you will turn one and it just freaks me out. I feel like just a few days ago you were born. But you have conversations with me and smile at your loved ones like you're just natural born socialite. And you probably are. I just want you to know i love you and I'm doing everything in my power to make 2012 our year.
